Limitation of Liability
Phorest does not guarantee that information on this website is error free and accepts no liability for errors to the extent permitted by law. All bookings are made with the service provider, not Phorest. Phorest only facilitates the booking — the contract is solely between you and the service provider. You should review the service provider’s terms before booking. Use of this website is entirely at your own risk.
Links to third-party sites are provided for reference only. Phorest is not responsible for their content and does not endorse them.
Making a Booking
A reservation fee or deposit may be required when booking, processed via a third-party payment gateway. If booking on behalf of a group, you remain the responsible party for the booking.
It is your responsibility to inform the service provider directly of any physical or mental conditions that may require special facilities.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before the service provider’s cancellation period may be eligible for a refund of any deposit. Cancellations after this period will result in loss of the deposit. The salon may also charge the remaining balance of the appointment cost if it is not cancelled in time.
If you fail to arrive by your agreed appointment time, you authorise the service provider to charge your payment method up to the full booking value (less any deposit already paid). The same applies to any members of a group booking who do not arrive on time.
Phorest accepts no responsibility for cancellations by either party, and no liability for losses or additional expenses arising from changes to salon services, sickness, weather, strikes, or any other cause.
Gift Vouchers
- Redeemable only at the business of purchase.
- May be partially redeemed, with the balance used before expiry.
- Can be used alongside cash or other accepted payment methods.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Subject to legal expiry limits depending on jurisdiction. Check your voucher or contact your service provider for details.
- Delivered by email after payment in a printable format including voucher amount, ID, barcode, validity period, and service provider contact details.
Stored Payment Methods
Phorest may collect and store your payment details (including card and bank account details) when you make a payment or request a refund. Card details are tokenised and stored securely in accordance with PCI DSS requirements. No payment will be processed without your authorisation.
Stored payment methods may be used for future authorised payments until you request their removal. If using a card, provide updated details at least three business days before expiry. Payment processing fees, bank fees, or government taxes may apply.
Stored payment details will not be shared with third parties except as required to process payments, comply with PCI DSS, or fulfil legal obligations.
To change or remove a stored payment method, contact Phorest’s Customer Support team.
Reviews
After a completed appointment you may receive an email inviting you to leave a review. By submitting a review you agree that Phorest or the service provider may publish it. Only your first name will be displayed. Neither Phorest nor the service provider is responsible for any wording in your review that may reveal your identity.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts for any disputes arising from use of this website.
All website content is owned by or licensed to Phorest. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.
Phorest may use cookies to personalise your experience and improve website functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function as a result.
